Saturday 9-8-2012

Will it all fit?? Yes it will when your husband has mastered the art of loading freight.  Kawasaki and ROK really spoiled us this year with the items they sent.  I have one more shopping stop I need to make before going to bed this evening, then in the morning, fill the gas tank and coffee cup and go.

It's about 7 1/2 to 8 hours from here to there, so I should arrive in the afternoon tomorrow.

And never fear Skid, they didn't forget  you.  I am thinking 3 boxes of bike wash supplies and a large package of towels should make this relatively painless for you :-)

VROC Reunion 2012

Thank You for following the VROC Reunion Blog.  This is the first year that JR and I have ever hosted a Bike Rally and we have enjoyed it so much that we are already making plans for next years, but we will wait until later to talk about those.  I am not much of a Photographer, but I promise to try to get some pictures in here.  I wont promise quality or even quantity as I seem to leave the camera in the on the dining room table, the car or the motel room and only realize I don't have it when I see a great photo op.

The VROC Reunion is an event that takes place every year in Eureka Springs since 2001.

For 2012, it will be held from September 11 thru the 15th at Carolyn's Ozark Swiss Inn, of course in Eureka Springs.  Some of the events include (but aren't limited to):  The annual Burger Barn Run on Wednesday the 12th, lead by Lucky Al.. Lambert's run lead by Mitch on Thursday.. A Ride-N-Shoot Friday morning..

We have Pins by Badger and T-shirts by Piper and Judy will be there Friday the 14th with her wares and sewing machine.

Friday Evening we will all swarm in on Hotsauce and his famous BBQ.  I have heard about his BBQ since joining VROC and now I am excited to finally get to experience it.

Following the BBQ we will have our raffle, this year the benefits will go to one of our own to help him get back on his feet LITERALLY.  I am a bit corny, but I have dubbed the raffle "The Wiggle Raffle".  We chose to not make this raffle a 50/50 raffle, but instead 100% of the proceeds will go to Craig Scott to help with the financial burdens from his new lifestyle following his wreck.

Now that I have the introductions out of the way...LET'S GO!!

Thursday Sept. 6th,  I came home at noon to find a porch full of goodies from Kawasaki and ROK for the Reunion.  These are promotional items, items for the Raffle and a healthy supply of Bike Wash items for a Bike Wash Station.
